Is it really free to list?
Yes, for now. Posting an ad is free while we welcome our first 100 Garage members, with up to 3 ads each. After that, new ads will carry a small listing fee, and we’ll announce it before it starts. There’s never any commission.
What can I sell here?
Accessories and parts for cars, motorbikes and number plates, such as wheels, lights, helmets, riding gear and plate frames. See the Garage Rules for the full list.
Can I sell my car, bike or number plate here?
Not in the Garage. Whole vehicles aren’t allowed. Number plates have their own listings on AusPlates; see our Packages page.
How do I contact a seller?
Open the ad and use the message form. You’ll need a free AusPlates account so sellers know who they’re talking to.
Does AusPlates handle payment or postage?
No. You pay the seller directly and arrange pickup or postage together. Please read our Safety Tips first.
How long does my ad stay up?
60 days. We’ll email you a week before it ends, and you can renew it for free.
Can I get an email when something I want is listed?
Yes. Search for it, then save a search alert. We’ll email you when a matching ad goes live.
How do I report a dodgy ad?
Click Report on the listing and pick a reason. Our team will check it.
